An Uyo-based makeup artist and hairstylist, Emrich Effanga, has allegedly been strangled to d3ath by her boyfriend.
The news of Emrich’s de@th was broken by her brother, Ifiok Effanga, a guitarist professionally known as Fiokee, on Saturday, February 8.
He did not state the circumstances of the loss, he only gave a hint when he advised victims of domestic abuse to speak up before it was too late.
Now, the deceased’s cousin, Purim Mercy, has taken to Facebook to disclose that she was k!lled by her boyfriend, an usher in a church.
“Emrich Effanga, you are no more again. And there was no idea anywhere that you were in an abusive relationship with a guy who claimed to be your lover. And now, he has succeeded in killing you by strangling you to death. An usher in your church for that matter. So sad. My baby Cousin. May your soul. Rest In Peace. Good Bye,” she wrote.
