President Bola Tinubu’s media aide, Olusegun Dada, has reacted to Nigerians digging up old tweets of him calling for protest against former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Recall that Dada tweeted that those who wanted to burn down the country would be resisted.
He has now come out to claim that he never asked people not to protest. He said his point was that ‘burning the country’ would be resisted.
He said his tweets were aimed at telling people that social media activism or violence in the street could not bring them the leaders they wanted.
He insisted that any attempt to burn down the country would be resisted.
