George Deegha, the partner of late Nollywood actress Ada Ameh, has taken to social media to mourn her sudden demise.
Ms. Ameh passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, after slumping at a private function in Delta State. Her sudden death shocked the entertainment industry, coming just two years after the tragic loss of her only daughter.
In an emotional post shared on his Instagram page days after her passing, George expressed his profound sadness at losing the actress, whom he described as his “friend, partner, and soulmate.” Throughout her well-documented battles with mental health and grief, George had remained a steady, supportive presence in her life.
He wrote:
“How my world crumbled before me, I have lost you, you were my friend, partner, soul mate. I feel lost and alone, I do not know what to do. It is a never-ending nightmare of pain for me, like a nail being drilled into my heart, aches and pull out. I know I will never get over your death, but somehow I have to get through it. This grief is indescribable.”
Following his heartbreaking post, several of Ada’s colleagues from the hit show The Johnsons and various Nollywood stars flooded the comment section to offer prayers and comfort to George during his time of grief.
