Chima Anolue, the man recently killed by his houseboy in Awka, Anambra State, had been pressuring his mother, Dr. Ify Anolue, to send the suspect away because he did not like his behaviour.
The late Anolue, a lecturer at the Psychology Department of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, was attacked with a pestle when a fight ensued between him and the domestic servant.
The incident happened on Friday night, July 14, 2023, at Ifite village in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
According to Iyke Ezoms, a UNIZIK graduate and staff of First Bank of Nigeria, the deceased had been asking his mother to send the house help back to his parents as he did not like his behaviour.
