A tragic motor accident along the Abuja–Lokoja highway has claimed the lives of a couple, Dr. Emmanuel Aiyejina and Barr. Helen Aiyejina, alongside their daughter, Deborah Aiyejina.
The fatal crash occurred on October 19, 2026, along the busy interstate corridor.
The news was confirmed in a tribute shared on Facebook on Wednesday by a family relative, Emmanuel Ogbofa Harrison.
Harrison described the deceased as cherished family members and respected professionals whose lives brought immense joy and light to everyone around them.
The Abuja–Lokoja highway remains one of the country’s most hazardous transit routes, with frequent fatal collisions attributed to high speed, reckless overtaking, and poor road conditions.
