‘She died after surgery to rejuvenate her face and private parts’, Nigerian lady posts harsh tribute to late friend
An abroad-based Nigerian businesswoman known on social media as Aisha (@rivkaaishaa) has sparked intense online debate after publishing a scathing tribute to her late friend, Jannah, following news of her passing.
Aisha accused Jannah of having an affair with her ex husband, among other damning allegations.
She first posted a picture of herself and her late best friend, praying that she would rest in piss.
Then she shared a mock obituary graphic containing a picture of Jannah. She wrote underneath the picture: “May you never rest in peace and go straight to hell. Karma is a b*tch. Good riddance.”
In a scathing tribute, she made severe allegations against the deceased and posted the graphic across her social media platforms.
“With absolutely no tears and several unanswered questions, we announce the untimely departure of Jannah, a woman who spent her earthly days proving that not every woman’s hobby is Pilates, brunch, or traveling. Some women simply prefer other people’s husbands.”
The graphic went on to claim that Jannah died due to medical complications following aesthetic procedures, stating that her life ended after complications from a facelift and vaginal rejuvenation surgery before concluding with “Good riddance, Jannah.”
Businesswoman defends post and alleges betrayal
Following widespread backlash from social media users who criticized the harsh tone of the post, Aisha issued follow-up statements defending her actions and detailing accusations of betrayal, extortion, and harassment.
Aisha alleged that the deceased infiltrated her home under the guise of friendship, manipulated her ex-husband, attempted to blackmail her, and issued threats against her children.
She added that these actions directly contributed to her subsequent child custody battle.
Allegations of false reports and legal action
Aisha further claimed that Jannah repeatedly submitted false reports to child welfare authorities, subjecting her young children to years of official scrutiny.
According to Aisha, the deceased called Child Protective Services on her and her ex-husband more than ten times, alleging abuse, abandonment, and exploitation.
The resulting investigations affected her young sons, aged two, four, and five at the time, and only ceased after extensive legal action and court subpoenas. Aisha claimed the legal process drained her resources.
Addressing public inquiries regarding her former husband’s responsibility in the affair, Aisha clarified that she had already divorced her ex-husband and handled his involvement separately, maintaining that her former friend also deserved public accountability for her actions.
