A man has been taken into custody in South Africa after he was accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s sister while she was reportedly unconscious at a residence in KwaZulu-Natal.

According to accounts given by the woman who discovered the incident, she returned home and found her sister in a vulnerable state—unconscious and partially unclothed—while the suspect was allegedly in the process of assaulting her.

The matter was reported to emergency responders, and officers from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene in the Amouti area of KwaZulu-Natal.

The responders were shown photographic evidence captured at the location, which reportedly supported the complaint made by the victim’s sister.

She explained that her sibling had appeared intoxicated and unresponsive at the time, making her unable to resist or comprehend what was happening.

She immediately intervened and documented what she found before seeking help.

RUSA officers subsequently arrested the suspect at the scene. During questioning, he allegedly claimed that the victim’s underwear was located under the bed, a statement that was included in the initial incident account provided by responders.

Reports indicate that the accused did not dispute the allegation of sexual assault when confronted by authorities, though official court proceedings and full police findings are still expected to determine the legal outcome of the case.

The boyfriend remains in custody while investigations continue, and authorities are expected to provide further updates as the case progresses through the South African justice system.
