A cloud of mourning has descended on the Uga community in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State following the reported death of a football enthusiast, Chibuzor Nzediegwu, during the UEFA Champions League final.
Nzediegwu was said to be a devoted fan of Arsenal F.C. and reportedly collapsed while watching the highly anticipated final against Paris Saint-Germain F.C.
According to accounts from residents, the incident occurred during the second half of the match as tensions rose following PSG’s equaliser and sustained pressure on Arsenal.
Witnesses said Chibuzor suddenly slumped while following the game, prompting concern among those around him.
