A video of a group of women dancing with branded panties at what appeared to be a political rally has sparked wild reactions online.
The red underwear is branded with the face of an alleged politician.
The clip, which surfaced online on April 24, 2026, shows the women dancing happily in a procession complete with a brass band.
They can be seen waving the red underwear as they dance along.
Many netizens commenting online speculated that the panties were gifted to the women by a political figure for campaign activities.
Some other commenters noted that it was a move to ridicule Kwankwanso
A netizen, Kadio with the handle, @kadio_B, shed light on the situation. He noted that some people were deliberately misreading the situation.
According to him, the video portrays women mocking the leader of the Kwankasiyya movement.
“They are saying this is the pant of Tsula, meaning Kwankwaso.”
His explanation is not making much of an impact on other X users.
Blu Blood fired back with “APC and bnzan context, the governors pix on the pant but it’s kwankwaso they are mocking. You go explain tire”
Jíggÿ @ezechiedo, wrote “Mocking Kwankwasiya, why is the picture that of the current Governor???”
Slim @onu_slim wrote, “This is peak desperation and cultural suicide in Kano.
Women reduced to waving red panties with a politician’s face plastered on it. Chanting for Tinubu while parading underwear like cheap prostitutes at a rally?
APC has turned Northern dignity into a br*thel stunt. Where is the outrage from the same moral police who ban music and harass women for indecency?
This isn’t politics, it’s shameless degradation of our mothers and sisters for 2027 votes. Disgusting”
