The husband of Ibadan-based TikToker, Aunty Abake, has expressed deep anguish following her sudden death, in a tragedy that has left her family and followers in shock.
Reports indicate that the content creator collapsed during a livestream, an incident that has sparked widespread online reactions due to its unexpected nature.
In an emotional message shared after her passing, her husband opened up about the overwhelming grief he is battling. He said he initially tried to remain composed but could no longer suppress the pain.
Describing their bond, he noted that she was more than a wife to him, calling her his best friend, partner, and confidant.
“I’m in the saddest moment of my life… I promised myself to stay calm, but I can’t hold this anymore,” he wrote, reflecting on the day of her passing.
He also raised concerns about their children, questioning how he would cope with raising them alone in the absence of his wife.
“Can I get over this? With two kids… Abake, this is too much for me,” he added.
The late TikToker’s sudden demise has continued to generate sympathy messages, with many expressing condolences to her family over the painful loss.
