A United States-based woman has publicly accused Nigerian On-Air Personality, Mayowa Lambe, of allegedly contributing to the collapse of her marriage, amid the OAP’s ongoing dispute with her ex-husband, Roby Ekpo.
The allegation, which surfaced in a series of social media posts, claimed that Lambe was romantically involved with the woman’s former husband, Yusuf Fatai, during the subsistence of her marriage.
According to the accuser, Lambe’s alleged relationship with Fatai created tension in her home, eventually leading to the breakdown of the union. She further alleged that Fatai may have played a role in facilitating Lambe’s relocation to the United States after obtaining his own citizenship through marriage to her.
The woman also accused Fatai of engaging in questionable immigration practices, including allegedly assisting individuals with visa applications using falsified documents. She claimed that before their relationship, Fatai had proposed to Lambe and maintained ties with her while still married to another woman in Slovenia.
In one of her posts, she said, “This Mayowa girl caused serious issues in my household… Maybe homeland security and investigations can determine if my ex-husband invited her to America after securing his citizenship through marriage to me.”
She added that Fatai allegedly admitted to opening a credit card account for Lambe while still married to her, claiming he was offering assistance to the OAP.
The fresh claims come amid heightened scrutiny surrounding Lambe’s past relationship with Roby Ekpo, which has remained in the public eye following their separation.
As of the time of filing this report, Lambe has not publicly responded to the new allegations.
