Controversial relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has issued a public apology to Nigerians over the ongoing backlash surrounding her cancer claims, while still insisting that she is battling breast cancer.

In a recent online interview, the influencer expressed regret over the confusion and public outrage generated by her earlier statements, which sparked widespread debate and accusations of misinformation.

According to her, the controversy may have stemmed from miscommunication regarding her medical diagnosis, as she maintained that she only relayed information she believed was accurate at the time.

“Maybe it’s miscommunication because that was what I was told,” she said, adding that she is still undergoing medical evaluations to determine the exact stage of her condition.

Blessing CEO also reiterated that she has not begun chemotherapy, stating that doctors are still reviewing her biopsy results and other test outcomes before making a final determination.

She further defended her earlier claims about donations, insisting that she received about ₦13 million—not the higher figures circulating online—and urged critics to understand her perspective.

While apologising for the controversy, she maintained that she has no intention of deceiving the public, stressing that her health situation remains ongoing and medically unresolved.

The statement has once again divided public opinion, with some Nigerians calling for accountability, while others argue that she should be given space to handle her health privately.
