A medical doctor, Ere Ogbachi, has passed away following complications shortly after giving birth to triplets in Bayelsa State.

Her death was disclosed in a Facebook post by her brother, Meshack Sintei, who revealed that she was moved to the Intensive Care Unit of the Federal Medical Centre Yenagoa, where she died in the early hours of April 14, 2026.
