Fresh tension has trailed the short-lived marriage of former Big Brother Naija star Angel B Smith, as her estranged wife, Tumininu, clapped back at her mother after she raised concern over her daughter’s whereabouts.

The marriage, which reportedly took place on March 28, 2026, collapsed within weeks, amid allegations, online exchanges, and emotional outbursts from both sides of the family.

Trouble began after Tumininu hinted at serious issues in the union, sharing posts suggesting a new romantic interest and also claiming to have taken back an engagement ring previously given to Angel.

She further stirred controversy by inviting interested persons to indicate interest in the ring.

The situation escalated when Angel’s mother, Titilala Brownsugar, took to social media asking for information about her daughter, writing: “Where is my daughter??? All I want is my only child for God’s sake.”

In a sharp response, Tumininu dismissed the concerns and suggested that authorities be contacted, claiming the matter would be resolved quickly if reported to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

She wrote: “Even tho I no wan talk, make she call DHS. She go reach Naija in 24 hrs,” adding in another post: “Call immigration, she will appear.”

Tumininu also continued to taunt her mother-in-law, describing the situation as unnecessary drama and insisting that the allegations being circulated were misleading.

She further alleged infidelity in the brief marriage and used social media posts to defend her actions, repeatedly stating that she had been “warned” about the relationship.

Meanwhile, Angel B Smith has remained silent amid the unfolding controversy, with no public statement addressing the allegations or the family dispute.

In a further development, Angel’s mother shared screenshots of private messages she claimed were from her daughter, in which she reassured her not to worry despite ongoing online narratives.

Reacting to the leaked messages, Tumininu dismissed them as staged, describing the entire situation as “Nollywood,” a reference to dramatic storytelling in Nigerian cinema.
