Nigerian woman, two children killed in Texas crash buried in US

The late Nihinlolawa Agoro died with two of her three children.

The remains of a Nigerian woman, Nihinlolawa Agoro, and her two grown-up children have been laid to rest in the United States following their death in a road accident.

Agoro, 44, died alongside her children, Temiloluwa Alabi, 18, and Isaac Alabi, 22, in a crash that occurred in Texas.

The incident happened on Sunday, March 15, 2026, along Highway 90A in Fort Bend County.

Authorities said the accident, which occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. between Harlem Road and Pitts Road, involved a truck and a sport utility vehicle conveying five occupants.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, the truck reportedly lost control, veered across the median, and collided head-on with the oncoming vehicle.

It was gathered that Agboro’s youngest daughter was the sole survivor of the crash.

The deceased were buried on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Richmond, Texas, amid heavy rainfall and an outpouring of grief from family and sympathisers.
