A young car owner and his friends are lucky to be alive after they rammed into a tricycle carrying two pupils returning from school.
The mother of the pupils raised an alarm that the men were Yahoo boys who were looking for lives to use for rituals.
The alarm raised sentiments against the young car owner and his friends and they were mobbed by bystanders.
The prompt arrival of policemen saved the young men from being lynched.
The mother claimed that the accident was deliberate and was aimed at shedding blood but for God’s intervention.
In a video of the incident, the voice of the woman can still be heard in the background complaining that the boys tried to k1ll her kids returning from school.
The video also captured the car owner in the hospital being treated alongside the pupils.
He can be heard stating that it was an accident and that he had no intention of hurting anyone.
He also complained to the police that he was unjustly beaten and almost lynched.
