Ashluxe CEO reacts over assault of actresses Caroline Hutchings, Shan George by his guard
The CEO of Ashluxe, Olayinka Ashogbon has spoken up following the assault of Nollywood actresses, Caroline Hutchings and Shan George by his security guard.
It would be recalled that Caroline called out Ashluxe and threatened legal action against them for the assault on her by a guard who sprayed tear gas at her and Shan George because she parked in front of their store.
Ashogbon has now apologized to the actresses over the incident adding that it had been reported to the relevant authorities.
His statement reads:
“I have been made aware of the incident that occurred on our office premises on Saturday, 18.08.2024 [8:30pm-10:00pm]. Upon learning of the situation, it was promptly reported to the relevant authorities, and we are cooperating fully with their ongoing inquiry and investigation. I sincerely empathize with Ms. Carolyna Hutchings and Ms. Shan George regarding the unfortunate events and have personally reached out to them. Our organization does not condone or support violence, assault or harassment in any form. We will continue to engage with all parties involved and coorporate with the authorities as they carry out their investigation. My best regards, Yinka Ash”
Carolyna has also taken to her Instagram page to acknowledge that Ashogbon had apologized to her.
However, the actress in a statement made available to Independent, said she was determined to ensure justice was served as her legal and management wiould be following closely with the police over the case.
