Pastor Leke Adeboye, son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed that he once had a crush on Love Oyedepo, the daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church.
Leke made the confession in a 47-minute-long podcast, “Confession Box,” hosted by Adeboye, himself, and uploaded on the YouTube channel on Friday.
Meanwhile, his guest on the podcast interview was Love’s brother and son of Bishop Oyedepo, Isaac.
Adeboye recounted proposing to his wife without a ring, adhering to the rules of RCCG.
He shared that he read a scroll to her, promising she would never regret marrying him.
Speaking with Isaac, Leke said, “I used to have a crush on your sister, Love, but she was crushing on my brother.”
Leke Adeboye married Titilope Rachel Adeboye in 2011, and they are blessed with four children.
Leke is the youngest child of Pastors Enoch and Folu Adeboye. He serves as an assistant pastor at RCCG and also works as the senior personal assistant to his father, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Love, on the other hand, is now also married to Pastor Stephen Ogah, an associate Pastor at the Faith Tabernacle Canaanland, Living Faith Church Worldwide.
Meanwhile, Isaac, who was earlier asked about his status in his father’s church again maintained that he is a member and steward of Living Faith Church.
“It is a transition. Nothing really changed,” Isaac said.
In October 2023, Isaac Oyedepo addressed speculations about his status within the church and his relationship with his father.
“I remain a steadfast member of the Living Faith Church dedicated to the service of the body of Christ,” he said then.
About a month later, he unveiled his ministry and got his father’s blessings.
According to the young Oyedepo, he is carrying out the “assignment God gave him.”
He said, “I am still in Winners, I’m still in Living Faith, I’m still a member and a steward because of the assignment that God has given to us. I think we just overcomplicate very simple things.
“Before I came in full-time to being a pastor, I was a member and what I see is that it was a transition. Nothing really changed but the challenge is seeing me on the altar ministering as a pastor.
“I am currently planted in a church in Abuja, but then, I now have the liberty to pursue what God has asked and called me to do which I can’t do being a full-time pastor.”
