One dead, several injured as cultists clash in Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukuwu University (video)

Uli Campus of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukuwu University (COOU), was turned to a theatre of war over the weekend as cultists engaged each other in a gun battle.

Rapid gunfire rent the air as students of the institution, formerly called Anambra State University (ANSU), ran in different directions to escape falling victim to the flying bullets.

Videos from the scene show young men on motorcycles chasing each other.

A voice can be heard saying the problem among the cultists had been on since Saturday, May 8, 2024, and he wondered how those who would write their examination in the new week would be able to cope.
