‘Easy, abeg. I have three kids,’ Nollywood Actor Junior Pope cautions boat pilot in video he posted before he drowned today (Video)

Popular actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, has passed away.

The boat the actor was in reportedly capsized, throwing him and three other actors into the river as they tried to get to their movie location earlier today.

Pope earlier today shared a video of himself on a wooden speedboat on his way to the same movie location yesterday.

He wrote in what has now become his last post on earth: “See me lamenting….The risk we take to entertain you; crossing river 9ja yesterday with no life jacket…. Na wahooooo Who does that ??”.

The reference to lamenting was cautioning the speedboat pilot to take it easy by reducing his speed.

In the video he told the man he was an only child and had three children at home, whom he had to train. He asked the gentleman to reduce his speed.

When the man did, he thanked him and continued to speak to someone on the phone, talking about the risk he was taking to do his job.
