A group of students of PEFTI Film Institute, Isolo, Lagos have put together a viral video cover for Nigerian singer VicTony’s hit song, Soweto.

Veteran journalist and broadcaster, Sam O’Femi Fasetire’s first son, Sunny, played a leading role in the music video which has received wide acceptance across the institution and in cyberspace.

The sampled video, which was released on Good Friday, features Sunny Fasetire as the centre of attraction in an outing of fun-loving young people.

He stars alongside his coursemates in year one National Diploma of Performance Arts at PEFTI Film Institute, Isolo, Lagos.

The institute is owned by Wale Adenuga, a movie production establishment responsible for iconic works like Papa Ajasco, Binta And Friends, Ikebe Super, This Life and Super Story.

Sunny and his classmates are hoping to get their breakthrough into the nitty-gritty of Nigerian show business and Nollywood through lectures and practicals at Adenuga’s institution.

Their adventure has, apparently, entered another gear, following the success of their Soweto video, which was part of their practical assessment in a course on video production.
