Moscow massacre: Heartbreaking pictures of victims roll in

Ex-beauty queen and husband and wife among at least 140 dead

Pictures of some of the victims of the Moscow massacre have started coming out.

Among them are a former beauty queen, a husband and wife and a company director.

At approximately 9.45 pm local time on Friday, at least four people were seen entering the city hall in the Moscow Oblast city of Krasnogorsk.

The gunmen were seen with automatic weapons and explosives in their backpacks as they stormed the building and carried out the horror attack.

Ekaterina Novoselova, 42, was listed by the Russian Health Ministry as perishing in the Crocus City Hall attack.

Novoselova won beauty pageants in 2001 in her native Tver, and lived recently in Moscow.

Another victim was Natalia Zudina, 44, a graduate of the Ural State Economics University, originally from Yekaterinburg. Most of the victims were at the Crocus concert venue to see Soviet-era rock group Picnic.

Killed too was Irina Firsova, 52, a Russian history graduate of the Ogarev State University in Moscow, originally from Saransk.

She recently moved to Moscow where she was teaching history at the Institute for Film and Television.

Pavel Okishev, 34, and his wife photographer Irina Okisheva, 33, were both reported killed. Pavel was to turn 35 on March 27.

The couple were originally from Kirov and had been together since 2012. Alexander Semenov, 45, was a director general of a company producing building materials.

Sergei Laptev, 48, killed at Crocus City, was originally from Shtormove, in the mainly-occupied Luhansk region of Ukraine. Roman Sokolov, 47, appears on the list of those who perished in the Crocus City Hall attack in Moscow published by the health ministry.

He was a graduate of the Moscow State Technical University for Civil Aviation. He died on his birthday.
