A Nigerian lady’s young marriage is facing a storm after she took to Tiktok to call out her mother-in-law who packed out of her house when she cautioned her against giving her two-week-old baby pineapple.

Mrs Shelton took to social media to call out her mother-in-law for taking offence after she cautioned her against feeding her two-week-old baby with pineapple.

In a video that went viral, the young lady said she noticed her mother-in-law was trying to feed her baby pineapple and she stopped it, pointing out that the baby’s immune system was still too low to take such.

She said the mother-in-law got infuriated, packed her things and left her home.

According to the new mum, her mother-in-law later resorted to reporting her to family members, claiming she disrespected her.

‘’You see all these people that come online to talk about mother-in-laws telling you if they don’t like you, don’t like them back, they are telling you the truth. Your mother-in-law nor like you and dey go form good girl? They will never like you. Just return the same energy or better still just dey your lane.

Mothers-in-law, you people are doing too much nowadays! What will it profit you trying to ruin your son’s marriage? ‘’ she said.

In a follow-up video, Mrs Shelton appeared crestfallen as she explained that the video she did had gotten her into trouble.

She explained that she never thought it would go so viral and that before she could get a chance to show it to her husband, other people had shown it to him and he came home to fight her.

Mrs Shelton said all she wanted were the opinions of people so that she could know whether she did badly cautioning her mother-in-law or not.

She lamented that some netizens passed some really negative comments about her marriage and her mother-in-law that infuriated her husband and his family.
