A group of policemen have barged into a live TV programme to arrest a man being featured as a guest.
The incident happened in the studio ABN TV in Umuahia, Abia State.
The policemen barged into the studio and interrupted the programme, shouting that the man was under arrest and should come out.
The man responded that they should identify themselves to prove they were who they claimed and one of the policemen brought out his ID card.
The policeman claimed there was a petition against the guest that he was a kidnapper.
The man protested that he was not a criminal and had not been involved in anything that would warrant policemen arresting him.
The cops insisted he had to stop what he was doing and come out with them. Attempts by the presenter to calm them down fell on deaf ears.
They finally succeeded in arresting the man after a brief scuffle.
