A video clip showing a policewoman helping Osun First Lady, Titilayo Adeleke to wear her earring is creating some waves online.
Some netizens argued that it is part of the abuse of office to use such security personnel as personal aides or domestic servants.
@MsNemah who uploaded the video on X wrote: “One day, our “elites” will understand why this is rubbish practice and it must be condemned. Is this what taxpayers should be paying for?”
Many supported her view, but some pointed out that they could be friends and as such, there was nothing wrong with the gesture from the policewoman.

When you see blue berets, that’s them.”
@seunosewa: “The policewoman looks so sad.”
@Pentastic33: “Not surprised. We mostly promote the master/slave dynamics in most areas of our activities in this country. Corporate jobs, academic environments, security agencies, etc. Na why some even have the guts to hire sojo make e come beat people on top land.”
@zaliatishiaku: “But she’s her aid and they probably have a personal friendship. The policewoman is a human being not a robot so I see no problem helping her to glam up”.
@SIR_CLEMENTIO: “They might be friends”
@rotilaw: “That is why there is no talk of Police reform. Why would you want a more efficient and effective police, when they can act as MUA assistant for you?”
