Operatives of the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have confirmed the arrest of 69 suspected internet fr@udsters otherwise known as yahoo boys in Osun State.
Recall that students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) had staged a protest on November 1, over the arrest of their colleagues who were arrested by the command during a midnight raid.
They were arrested on Wednesday at Oduduwa Estate area of Ile-Ife following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in fr@udulent internet-related activities, EFCC said in a statement.
According to the statement, “Credible intelligence linked Oduduwa Estate with activities of suspected internet fr@udsters.
