A lawyer and activist, Chet Nwata has alleged that the fight between the former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and his successor, Sim Fubara, is over the state’s allocation.

Nwata who alleged that Wike demanded to be given 25 per cent of the state’s allocation during an interview on Arise TV, claimed that Governor Sim allegedly offered to give 10 per cent of the allocation to his predecessor but he allegedly refused.

He alleged that Governor Sim is fighting back because it is natural for people to push back when oppressed.

Nwata further claimed that Wike took control of Rivers State after Governor Sim’s election. He alleged that the minister of FCT appointed almost all the Commissioners and also appointed Sim’s Chief Security Officer.
