A Nigerian lady, Bukky Gabriel, has taken to social media to narrate how robbers broke into her apartment and made away with her valuables.
Bukky Gabriel who lived alone as a Nigerian Youth Service Corps member in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, recalled how the robbers shattered the glass windows of her apartment and forced their way in.
She said she took refuge in the toilet and stayed there while the night marauders ransacked her flat for anything of value.
In the end, they tried the toilet door and realized it was locked from inside and knew she was there.
Gabriel said they threatened to break down the door if she did not open it, so she quickly opened it for them.
She narrated that she was not properly dressed and one of the robbers looked at her lustfully before proceeding to caress her hair and breasts.
According to her, the situation was saved by a mate of the robber who was more interested in money than anything else. He said this robber told his mate to leave her alone and yanked her off to follow him to divulge her ATM PIN.
Gabriel said the robbers left her apartment shortly after, and she went to meet with other tenants of the multi-apartment building only to find out that everyone else was also robbed.
By the time she visited the bank to block her account, the robbers had already wiped the account clean.
She said the incident had left her traumatized and she could not sleep soundly up till now.
