Some Twitter users are mocking former minister, Femi Fani-Kayode for missing out on a ministerial appointment despite deleting old tweets attacking President Bola Tinubu.

There was a particularly caustic tweet he made in May 2021 in which he accused Tinubu of age falsification.

He posted an unflattering picture of the president and suggested that it was a lie that he was claiming to be 69. He added that Tinubu was closer to 100 than 69.

He has since deleted the tweet, but netizens who screengrabbed it at the time have released it to trend.

See the old tweet below.

@OkpoOgban: “I saw the switch coming, after my brother and friend’s name was missing in the ministerial list. I expect more pro-people and pan- African write-ups in the near future. However, we will dine with you, using a very long spoon.”
