A pedestrian was allegedly swept away by flood in Abule Egba to Agege axis of Lagos state.
In a video shared online, the passengers of a tricycle from where the scene was being recorded can be seen peering at the tumbling flood water in the drain. A female among the passenger can be heard exclaiming, ‘Omo, omi ti gbe lo o” (Water has carried him/her away.)
A middle-aged woman in the tricycle can be heard wailing loudly at the unfortunate turn of events.
The Abule-Egba to Agege axis of Lagos is prone to intense flooding that claims lives every rainy season.
