Former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, showed up at the banquet held in honour of President Tinubu in Lagos on June 29.
It would be recalled that Tinubu and Ambode fell apart in 2015 after Tinubu prevented him from securing a second term ticket.
Tinubu at the time backed Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who then succeeded Ambode.
Since then, the two avoided each other’s company.
A few weeks ago, Sanwo-Olu made a surprise appearance at Ambode’s birthday party, signaling an end to hostilities between the two men.
Ambode’s appearance at the banquet for Tinubu appears to be a consolidation of the peace moves.
The former governor stepped out to go greet the President at Lagos State House, Marina, Lagos.
