“I slept with her only twice” – Rapper Sarkodie talks about his affair with actress Yvonne Nelson

Netizens have unearthed a rap song where popular rapper, Sarkodie made reference to his relationship with famous actress, Yvonne Nelson.

Recall that Yvonne Nelson publicly revealed for the first time that she committed an abortion in 2010 after she got pregnant for the award-winning Ghanaian rapper.

The award-winning actress and movie producer made this revelation in her newly launched book titled “I AM NOT YVONNE NELSON”.

According to Yvonne Nelson, she was forced to terminate the pregnancy because the rapper insisted that he wasn’t ready to settle down with her because he had another lover.

As of that time, the rapper was based in Tema Community 8 and was still an up-and-coming musician.

Ghanaians reacted to the revelation with anger, dragging Sarkodie for impregnating Yvonne Nelson and failing to take responsibility for the pregnancy.

The book, titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” was launched on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Peduase Valley Resort. Many industry players, friends and the media were there to support her.

Netizens have now unearthed little-known song of the rapper Sarkodie, which he released when he was still trying to make it in the industry.

In the rap song rendered in his native language, Sarkodie seemed to confirm that he indeed asked Yvonne Nelson to abort the pregnancy.

He praised the lady for not taking a dime from him to terminate the pregnancy.

The rapper further said he only slept with the actress twice, adding that their relationship was not really serious.
