One killed, others injured in multiple vehicle collisions on Kara Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

One person was killed and several others were injured on Thursday morning, February 9, in multiple vehicle collisions on the Kara Bridge outward the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

About seven vehicles, including a container-laden truck, were involved in the multiple accidents.

The FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun State, Ahmed Umar, told Channels Television that a traffic hawker was killed in the unfortunate accident.

Umar attributed the cause of the accidents to brake failure by the truck whose driver rammed into the vehicles in front of him from behind.
