A man took to his heels to escape being beaten by the angry relatives of his wife who stormed the church to disrupt his marriage to another woman.
The family of the wife showed up at the church with the marriage certificate between the man and his first wife.
The family members went straight to the altar where the man was standing with his new bride and told the priests that the marriage could not continue because he had a subsisting marriage with their relative.
They also showed the priests the children from the pre-existing marriage.
The priests had no choice but to cancel the wedding.
The clip of the incident shows the moment the man tried to exit the church premises, but saw relatives of his wife coming towards him. He quickly turned back and fled into the church.
The incident reportedly happened in Sierra Leone over the weekend.
