A trending video has shown the moment a father resorted to corporal punishment to discipline his daughter who allegedly absconded from school to stay with an older boyfriend.
She was said to be a boarding student, whose parents believed was safely in school until a family member came across a clip of her romancing a boy inside a room on Tiktok.
The family member reportedly saved the video and sent it to her father who allegedly summoned her home.
In a clip that has also gone viral, the schoolgirl is seen being flogged by a man believed to be her father while some men hold her down.
