A lady identified as Ada Ihiala on Twitter has taken to the platform to raise an alarm that N200,000 disappeared mysteriously from the account of her younger brother with Zenith Bank.
According to her, the money was meant for the boy’s school fees and registration.
She called on Zenith Bank to quickly look into it and help to retrieve the money.
In an update later, she said the customer service department of the bank told her they were able to trace the money to a betting company’s account.
Interestingly, another tweep said his friend was also a victim. He claimed that N80k disappeared from his friend’s account and Zenith said there was nothing they could do.
He disclosed they did their own independent investigation and found that the money was moved into a betting company’s account via Paystack.
He added that Paystack had assured them the money would be refunded.

Bank said they couldn’t do anything about it until we investigated and found out it was removed through paystack into a betting account. Contacted paystack and she’ll get a refund.”
