Huge crowd as Tinubu flags off presidential campaign in Jos

Tinubu commits another blunder at the event

The official flag-off of the presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress attracted a mammoth crowd in Jos, Plateau State on Tuesday.

Pictures and videos of the massive turnout have been warming the internet all day.

So also is a video clip of a blooper the presidential candidate made on the podium while addressing the party faithful.

The candidate was filmed shouting: “God bless PDP!” during his address at the packed event. He caught himself at the last letter and quickly corrected himself.

The Rwang Pam Township Stadium was filled to capacity as thousands of APC faithful came to show support for Tinubu.

At the event were the president, Muhammadu Buhari, APC National chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Vice Presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, governors and other top party chieftains.

The APC’s presidential candidate is seeking to win the 2023 presidential election to replace President Buhari in office.

He has to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi in next year’s election.
