Lagos-Ibadan Expressway: Released abductee gives testimony in church, says two were shot dead (Video)

A Nigerian woman who was abducted along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Friday has shared her testimony in the church after being released miraculously by the bandits.

It would be recalled that some armed bandits struck near the Sat Guru Maharaj camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in the evening of Friday, October 28, 2o22.

An initial report by an eye-witness said one motorist was shot dead. The Oyo State Police command later said an officer was shot dead by the bandits during a confrontation.

The command’s spokesperson SP Adewale Osifeso, said the kidnappers carried out their attack along the Dominion University end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

One of the survivors of the incident has now gone to her church to submit a written testimony which was read by her pastor, Yemi Davids of the Global Impact Church on Sunday, October 30, she wrote:

”I ran into this daredevil gang of kidnappers yesterday afternoon along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. It was a random swoop as a fisherman would cast his net into the sea. Our vehicles were stopped in front and behind so we could not even reverse. If even we thought of reversing, we were warned that they would open fire. We were instructed to park off the road and that the last person to park and to get out of his car will be killed. True to their words, the last person that got out of his car was shot dead immediately.”
