Video of single women praying for husbands trends (Watch)

A video of some single women praying for husbands at a prayer ministry has been shared online.

The video generated online interest for a twist they put on a popular Christian praise and worship song: ‘Carry me dey go, Baba Carry me dey go dey go dey go’.

The song was changed to “Carry me dey go, Jehovah carry me dey go my husband house”.

While many find the video amusing, many others think it is unfair ‘shaming’ the women for praying for what they want.

@crownmecrown tweeted: “I hate that people shame women for praying for husbands. We all pray for different things, why draw the line at praying for a great partner?”

@jeffreyTK wrote: “Nothing wrong with praying for it. Women go to Shiloh etc and pray for husbands but the manner they were singing it makes it look like something is not right about it. Well twitter is different from reality”

@opinionvarsity: “You can ask God for everything and when it comes to a Life Partner, praying is no longer important? I don’t know why a bunch of women praying for husbands, should be laughed at for doing it.  Even men ask God for good wives.”

@BeeOdi: “Alot of you are problematic for no reason, so women can’t pray for good husbands again? We all pray for good job, good health, and lots more but you draw the line when women are praying for good husband’s abi, Issokay continue cooking.”
