One of the two pregnant women kidnapped with other passengers of a Kaduna-bound train in March has regained her freedom.
The terrorists had on March 28, attacked the train heading for Kaduna from Abuja after bombing its rail track.
Nine persons were killed during the attack, scores injured and over 62 other passengers kidnapped including two pregnant women.
One of the women who was eight months pregnant at the time of the attack gave birth safely with the aid of doctors brought in by the terrorists.
It was gathered that the other pregnant woman was released on compassionate ground by the terrorist group suspected to be the Ansaru Islamic sect, a breakaway of the Boko Haram sect.
In an exclusive video obtained by Daily Nigerian, the pregnant woman, seen in a black Abaya with a face mask, called on the Federal Government to negotiate with the bandits.
According to the woman, she and other victims were fed well and given medication by the terrorists.
“I call on the government to have mercy on these people the way they have mercy on us,” the woman said in Hausa.
“The government should consider the plight of people in captivity and listen to their demands. Government should negotiate with them peacefully and accede to their demands. So that those still with them can be released the way I was peacefully released and reunited with my family and loved ones. Government should help negotiate peacefully with them,” she added.
