Veteran Nigerian actor, Chief Fabian Adibe has lamented neglect by his colleagues with whom he worked for many years since old age caught up with him.
Fabian Adibe who has been out of the movie scene for 12 years disclosed in an interview with Chinelo Okafor of NeloJoshFoundation said that actors of his generation never had is as good as actors of today.
According to him, he was lucky to be offered N10,000 per role in his time and many of the producers would still complain that it was too much.
He said things are much better now as an actor/actress can be paid the sum of N100,000 for a role in the industry.
Adibe lamented that those he made money for in those days had abandoned him and never bothered to ask about him since he has been off-screen.
