A driver of an SUV is lucky to be alive after he mistakenly drove into a road side gutter during a downpour in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
The incident happened at Wetheral junction by Emmanuel College on Friday, September 24.
A video shared by an eyewitness, Ufomba Chinyere, shows the vehicle almost completely swallowed by the deep gutter.
Ufomba also confirmed that the owner of the car escaped unhurt.
