‘I never got asylum in Canada. I’ve been holed up in a house’- DJ Switch
Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has refuted claims she got asylum in Canada.
It would be recalled that it was widely reported that DJ Switch got asylum in Canada and had relocated there for her safety following her role in the Endsars protest during which she claimed that a certain number of people were shot dead.
She captured the shootings and extraction of bullets from some of the protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate in an Instalive video on October 20, 2020.
The personal assistant to singer, Peter Okoye, Charles Abi, later granted an interview where he stated that DJ Switch was safe and out of the country.
Now, in a message posted on her Instastories, DJ Switch debunked reports she was granted asylum in Canada.
According to her, she never stepped foot into Canada and had been cooped up in a house for months.
