A man who stole from his aged grandmother has met with harsh punishment from his community in South Africa.
Members of Soshanguve community in Pretoria reportedly apprehended the man, beat him thoroughly and tied him to a tree in the compound for passersby to see him.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning, August 25.
It was gathered that another alleged thief, pictured below, was caught stealing electrical cables. The same community members also apprehended him, beat him and tied him to the same tree.
