‘Chris Okotie needs a dirty slap to correct his senses for calling TB Joshua a sorcerer’ -Odumeje
Controversial cleric and Founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Ministry, Onitsha, Prophet Emeka Odumeje, has come down hard on a fellow cleric, Reverend Chris Okotie, for calling the late Prophet TB Joshua a wizard.
It would be recalled that Pastor Okotie was highly critical of Prophet Joshua while he was alive. He continued his biting criticism of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) after his demise on June 6, 2021.
A couple of days after the prophet’s death, Pastor Okotie uploaded a post that suggested that the late Joshua was a sorcerer who met with the wrath of God.
Pastor Okotie was criticized by many for that post.
But he followed it up with a video later basically saying the same things.
Speaking in his own church recently, Prophet Odumeje condemned Pastor Chris for not allowing the family of the late Prophet Joshua to mourn in peace.
Odumeje said he respected the departed cleric because he did his duties without being a ‘social man’ and left at his appointed time.
“The lion (referring to himself) is a social man. You are still talking. Joshua was not a social man. You are still talking.
“I want to correct a st*pid person, that is, a man who does not want the general to rest in peace and allow the family to mourn the general. This man is Chris Okote.
“Young man, we have respected you enough. And I have never seen you in this life do anything or save a soul. I have never seen you do a miracle like Prophet TB Joshua has done. But you will come out and say he is not a man of God.”
Odumeje said he believes Pastor Chris Okotie was possessed. This was thunderously applauded by his congregation.
He said Okotie was carnal and lacked the credentials to criticize Prophet Joshua. He said Pastor Okotie’s ambition to be president of the country underscores his long-held belief that Pastor Chris is insane and needs a dirty slap to correct his senses.
He said people should not mess with him (Prophet Odumeje) because when other pastors are busy instigating police to arrest people (an apparent reference to Apostle Johnson Suleman), he would consult neither a lawyer nor a policeman.
Instead, he said he would release a deadly spiritual weapon. That was followed by thunderous applause by his congregation.
