A pregnant Nigerian woman was tragically killed by unidentified attackers in her matrimonial home.
As of the time of this report, details about the exact location and circumstances remain unclear.
However, the incident reportedly took place on the night of Sunday, April 6, 2025.
An Abuja-based X (formerly Twitter) user, Aunty Halima, raised the alarm online, describing the murder as a horrific act. She wrote:
“Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rajiun. I’ve never witnessed such a gruesome scene—she was found slaughtered in her husband’s house. We urge @PoliceNG to thoroughly investigate. Please help share widely.”
Another X user, Ahmad, shared more context, stating the victim was five months pregnant.
He narrated that the woman’s husband had stepped out to a local market and tried reaching her by phone multiple times without success. Upon returning home, he reportedly found her lifeless body in a pool of blood, having been gruesomely attacked.
“She was butchered like a ram. Saddest thing I’ve ever heard. Rest in Jannah, Rumasa’u,” he posted.
Calls have been made for the Nigerian police to launch a full investigation into the matter.
