Delta varsity undergraduate arrested for k!lling nursing student while learning to drive

 

The police in Delta State have confirmed the arrest of a 100-level female student of Delta State University, Agbor, Precious Nosakaire, for crushing Awele Agatha Eluemunor, a final-year nursing student of Delta State College of Nursing, Agbor, with a car.

Nosakairehe was learning to drive with the assistance of her boyfriend when she lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a group of pedestrians, including the 23-year-old Awele.

Delta State Police Command spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, told the Punch that the suspect had been arrested while her boyfriend got away.

Sources disclosed that the tragic accident occurred on Tuesday, February 18, when the first-year student, was being taught to drive by her boyfriend.

The car reportedly veered off the road and hit a group of people at the side of the road, claiming the life of Awele, a nursing student preparing to graduate in November.

Two other victims of the accident are currently in a critical condition at the hospital.

The owner of the car who was sitting beside the suspect as he was teaching her to drive fled the scene immediately after the accident.
