Nigerian singer, Emoseh Khamofu, better known as Bloody Civilian, has recanted her earlier statement of being a lesbian.
Bloody Civilian created a storm online when she took to her X page, to announce that she was a lesbian and could no longer hide it.
She wrote: “I’m actually a lesbian. Can’t hide it anymore.”
The tweet received massive feedback, most of which was negative, as many argued that she would lead many young ladies who looked up to her astray.
A few, however, said they believed she was pulling a public stunt to promote an upcoming song.
The singer, hours later, took to the same X platform to recant her statement. She wrote, “I’m not a lesbian.”
She added that she was participating in a game show, with the first episode airing on February 7.
Bloody Civilian is a songwriter and producer signed to 0207 Def Jam, Def Jam Recordings’ UK affiliate.
Her popular tracks include ‘How To Kill A Man’ and ‘Wake Up’, which feature Rema.
Her ‘collabo’ with Rema was included in the 2022 American superhero blockbuster ‘Black Panther’.
