A 26-year-old woman, Siphesihle Precious Twala, was fatally shot by an unknown assailant while breastfeeding her infant in Geluksdal, Brakpan, South Africa.
The incident, confirmed by the advocacy group Women For Change, occurred on October 31, 2024.
According to reports, Siphesihle was seated in the passenger seat of a car, tending to her child, when an unidentified man approached and shot her four times in the head before fleeing the scene. No arrests have been made.
Siphesihle is survived by her two young sons, aged one and four.
Women For Change expressed deep sorrow, saying, “We are heartbroken over the loss of such a beautiful soul. Fly high, Siphesihle.”
