Social media activist, Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan has called out the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum, for not doing enough to help flood victims in his state.
VDM appeared before the House of Representatives investigative committee probing bribery allegations levelled by crossdresser Bobrisky against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service.
When he was asked to introduce himself at the hearing, VDM introduced himself and added that he would like to seize the occasion to ask the National Assembly to look into the issue of flooding in Borno.
He accused the governor of doing nothing, while the people of the state contributed a lot of resources to alleviate the sufferings of the flood victims.
VDM said, “Borno people contributed so much for the flood in their state, but their Governor has done nothing about it.”
He said the lawmakers should beam their searchlight on the issue before anything else.
The committee members cut him short and said all they wanted from him was an introduction.
